Join Stephani Lindsey for a two-day workshop in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona.  In a unique, historic building, The Yoga Experience has a breath-taking view of the San Francisco Peaks.  With it’s charming wood floors and full-wall mural by the talented Emma Gardner, Stephani fondly calls this her “yoga home.”  This is the first yoga studio she ever attended, this is where she fell in love with yoga, and dove into her first teacher training in 2004.

Saturday 930am-12pm

Enjoy an all levels, full-spectrum flow with detailed alignment and informative demonstrations, suitable for the “fit-beginner.”  No major injuries or limitations please, unless permission given by the instructor.

Sunday 1-4pm  

Step into the fullness of yourself in this intermediate advanced flow with detailed alignment and informative demonstrations.  It will be taught with advanced variations as options along the way.  The student may modify as necessary to accommodate his/her needs.

Price:  $33 per session, $60 for both

Celebrating the Sun

Rise with the Sun, offer gratitude for the life you’ve been gifted, start the day off with yoga.  Your day will be better because of it!

Each session includes 15 minutes of devotional practices (daily reading, chanting, pranayama, meditation) and 1 hour of yoga asana.

All levels welcome, major injuries are discouraged, unless with teacher approval.

Hacienda Del Sol’s delicious menu offers a beautiful variety of healthy foods, including some of the most potent superfoods that grow in their own gardens. In addition to healing the body from the inside out through food, another nurturing feature is the tranquil salt water pool that appears as if it drops off into the lush green plant life which envelops it.

The breathtaking grounds of the resort and its surrounding scenery supply the components of an unforgettable retreat. There are also excursions—jungle hikes, a sunset boat cruise; and guided meditations, breathing exercises, yoga classes, invitation for introspection, and reflection from an experienced and devoted student and teacher.

Stephani Lindsey began teaching in 2004. Although her foundation is in Anusara and Iyengar Yoga systems, she also spent time studying the Ashtanga and Bikram methods. When teaching, she seamlessly blends the methods into her offerings. Currently she teaches at Yoga Oasis in Tucson, Arizona, under Darren Rhodes. At present she also studies under Christina Sell, Manorama D’Alvia, and D.R. Butler. She loves fun, flow-based classes, but pays careful attention to detailed alignment, recognizing that the fun arises from skillful application of the fundamentals. She also enjoys offering healing, restorative-based classes for balance and rejuvenation.

Whether you need a little break, need to be re-inspired for your practice, or some time to rejuvenate and reset, this is your retreat.

​Join Stephani in this three-day intensive to integrate your mind, body, and heart:  delve into a wide array of yoga postures from fundamental to complex; explore concepts from the Bhagavad Gita; and practice self-reflection, chanting, breathing exercises, and meditation.

Please bring a journal and pen.

Recommended Reading: Bhagavad Gita by Eknath Easwaran

Prerequisites:  Straight arms in Urdhva Dhanurasana, some experience in handstands at the wall, desire to deepen one’s practice. Please no injuries or significant limitations unless with instructor approval.

Every day  is a brand new opportunity to renew–to renew yourself, your intentions for who you choose to be in this world, and to renew your gratitude for this life we’ve been given.  Morning practices grant clarity, offer peace, inspire hope and direction, and refresh your perspective for the day ahead.  Join this morning series to practice being with yourself in a new way.  One of the highest purposes of yoga is to know oneself.  To come to know yourself is the highest aim.   When you know yourself you know all other selves (paraphrased from DRButler).

 

This hour-long morning practice consists of:
